Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., relieving magistrate at Auckland, has had his period of appointment extended for another month. Mr Hunt, who retired from the magistracy in 1936, returned to the Bench for three months on the retirement. of the senior stipendiary magistrate, Mr W. R. McKean. The period, which expired at the end of July, was extended by one month, and this expired last Friday.
