Unofficial List.—Farmers’ Trading (C pref.) £l/0/3. HIGH PRICES FOR BULLOCKS STOCK SALE AT GORE High prices were secured for bullocks at the fortnightly Gore stock sale yesterday. Thirty-five head of fat cattle were offered and the first bullock auctioned realized £l6/5/-. This value was exceeded as the sale progressed and the top price of the day was £lB/17/6 for a bullock sold on account of Mr C. W. H. Tripp. Fat cows and heifers also met with a keen inquiry. Speyed heifers realized from £lO to £ll/2/6 and maiden heifers from £9/2/6 to £ll. Fat cows ranged in value from £lO 12/6 to £ll/12/6. A feature of the sheep yarding was the price of 40/3 obtained by Mr A. Hall, of Freshford, for a line of nine fat wethers. Other wethers brought up to 33/3 and fat ewes ' were sold at up to 27/3. (Special) DUNEDIN, September 9. The Dunedin Stock Agents’ and Woolbrokers’ Association reports that at today’s rabbitskin sale brokers submitted catalogues totalling about 47 tons. The demand was exceptionally strong for all desepritions, values all over showing an improvement on late quotations. Outgoings and winters elicited keen competition and were on the average 3d to 6d dearer, the greatest appreciation being on does. All other grades sold readily at prices Id to 3d better. First winter bucks sold to 185 d, first winter does to 173 d, second winter bucks to 176 d, second winter does to 164 d, furrier does to 156 d, spotted winter bucks to 155 d, spotted winter does to 154 d, outgoing winter bucks to 138 d, outgoing winter does to 131 d, runners 77d to 82d, racks 88-'>d to 131 d.
