PRIME MINISTER DUE AT WEEK END

PARLIAMENT MAY MEET ON TUESDAY (Special) WELLINGTON, Sept. 9. After the return to New Zealand of the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser) at the week-end it is likely that the House of Representatives, which has been sitting on only three days a week for some time, will meet at 7.30 o’clock on Tuesday night. Mr Fraser will probably then make a statement to the House and the country on the international situation, and it is possible that there will then be a short secret session to enable the Prime Minister to discuss with the House confidential matters arising out of his visit. The acting Prime Minister (the Hon. W. Nash) is likely to leave Wellington for Auckland on Friday night to meet Mr Fraser.
