Fair To Fine (Special) WELLINGTON, September 9. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate northerly winds; fresh at times in exposed positions; the weather fair to fine; rising temperatures. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was fine with brilliant sunshine throughout the day. Six degrees of frost were registered in the city yesterday morning. At 1 o’clock this morning the weather was fine and clear. The barometer reading was 30.25 in. (rising).
