GERMAN FORCES IN LIBYA

(Rec. 10.10 p.m.) LONDON, July 24. The Stockholm correspondent of The Daily Telegraph says it is believed that the greater part of the German troops in Libya have been transferred to the Eastern Front. It is announced in Berlin that Colonel Rottenburg has been killed on the Eastern Front. He commanded a panzer regiment in Cyrenaica. The Lisbon correspondent of Reuters says that according to trustworthy sources two German divisions have been left in Libya.
