MORE INTEREST-FREE LOANS
TOTAL REACHES £2,081,574 (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 15. The total of donations and interestfree loans to the Government for war purposes is £2,081,574, according to an announcement by the Minister of Finance (the Hon. W. Nash) today. Included among the interest-free loans are the following: Lyttelton Harbour Board, £5OOO for the duration of the war and six months after; Phillips and Impey, Auckland, £5OOO for the duration of the war and six months; Bushells, Ltd., Auckland, £5OOO for the duration of the war and six months; Herrick Brothers, Hastings, £2OOO for tire duration of the war and six months; Hutt Valley Electric Power Board, £lOOO for the duration of the war; George Syme and Company, Hawera, £lOOO for the duration of the war and six months; Anonymous, £lOOO for the duration of the war and six months; G.W.W., Christchurch, £lOOO for the duration of the war and six months; Mrs G. F. Russel, Auckland, £lOOO for the duration of the war and six months.
