The second day of the Auckland Racing Club’s summer meeting was held at Ellerslie in ideal weather. The attendance was 14,000. The track was in good order. The totalizator handled £69,026 compared with £57,868 last year. The total investments for the two days amount to £200,080 compared with £171,993/10/- last year, an increase of £28,086/10/-.
