BEAULIVRE SUCCEEDS IN KING’S PLATE INVESTMENTS INCREASE AT ELLERSLIE (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 28. The second day of the Auckland Racing Club’s summer meeting was held at Ellerslie in ideal weather. The attendance was 14,000. The track was in good order. The totalizator handled £69,026 compared with £57,868 last year. The total investments for the two days amount to £200,080 compared with £171,993/10/- last year, an increase of £28,086/10/-.
