ENGLISH PEER’S HEIR IN DOMINION

EXPERIENCE ON FARM SOUGHT (United Press Association). WELLINGTON, October 25. Son and heir of an English peer, the, Hon. N. A. Noel-Buxton arrived at Wellington by the Wanganella today. He has come to spend a year on a New Zealand farm for experience, before entering the legal profession in England. A tall young man with red hair, he has just come down from Balliol College, Oxford, where he has been reading law. He is a son of Baron NoelBuxton of Aylsham, first holder of a title created in 1930.. Lord Noel-Bux-ton was formerly Liberal member of the House of Commons for Whitby and Nbrfolk and later Labour member for the latter constituency. He was formerly Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries in Mr Ramsay MacDonald’s Cabinets of 1924 and 1929. He is a noted authority on the Balkans.
