IRON ORE DEPOSITS AT PARAPARA

DISCOVERY IN TESTING OPERATIONS (United Press Association) MOTUEKA, October 18. Testing operations at Parapara have disclosed iron ore in big quantities. Eleven tunnels, eight of which have been driven by the present Government have pierced an average width of 250 feet of ore of an unknown depth. The information obtained from these prospecting operations is considered eminently satisfactory and sufficient to transfer th? scene of operations to the Tukurua area, two miles from Parapara.
