LABOUR CANDIDATE SELECTED * MR R. T. PARSONS TO BE NOMINATED Mr R. T. Parsons, president of the Southland branch of the New Zealand Labour Party, has been selected by the Labour Representation Committee to contest the by-election for the vacant seat on the Invercargill City Council. Mr Parsons is a radio technician of the staff of 4YZ Invercargill. He was a member of the Labour “ticket’’ which contested the council election in May.
