DEATH OF BABY BORN IN “IRON LUNG”
MOTHER EXPECTED TO LIVE (Received October 21, 5.5 p.m.) TORONTO, October 20. The baby bom in the "iron lung” has died, but the mother is expected to live. For the flrit time in medical history, a woman, aged 17, who was suffering from Infantile paralysis, gave birth to a baby girl Inside a respirator, the so-called "Iron lung,” At an isolation hospital.
