Tim Furry got up early, for he rose at half-past three. He crept out to the garden just as softly as could be. “I mean to see the sun get up,” the little kitten said, “I’ll tootle on my trumpet as it rises out of bed.” But when the morning sun arose, I’ll tell you what he saw— A weary kitten trumpeter asleep upon the straw!
