CLAN NOTES AND NEWS
NEW CLAN: There are some girls in the northern and eastern parts of Invercargill who would like to form a clan. Any cousins wishing to join this new clan write to or come and see Cousin Betty. SILVER FERN CLAN: This clan accepts with regret the resignation of Cousin Julie McKeever, Invercargill. —Cousin Clara Lobb (secretary).
THISTLE CLAN: , Cousin Betty was present at the first meeting of the Thistle Clan which has just been formed in the Georgetown district. It was held on August 4 in the home of Cousin Isobel McEwan. Cousin Alan McDonald was elected captain and Cousin Julie McKeever, secretary. The members are: Cousins Isobel McEwan, Grace Weir, Dorothy Dobeck, Julie McKeever, Valerie Fox, Alan McDonald, Douglas Baillie, Wallace Baillie.
