FARR RESIGNS BRITISH TITLE (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) LONDON, August 11. The Boxing Board has accepted Tommy Farr’s resignation of the British heavyweight, title and has declared the Empire title vacant. It has nominated Eddie Phillips and Len Harvey to fight for the British title. -
