GENERAL NOTES The motor-vessel Tamatea sailed for Stewart Island yesterday morning and returned to Bluff late in the afternoon. To discharge London cargo and to ioaa meat for the Home markets, the Shaw. Savill motor-ship Zealandic arrived at Bluff: yesterday from Port Chalmers. .On completion here she will sail for Timaru. Tlie Union Company’s steamer Waiplata finished working on Wednesday night and sailed early yesterday morning for Timaru. From Wellington, the Union Company’s steamer Waitaki is due to reach Bluff tonight. She will load cargo for Melbourne and is expected to clear Bluff tomorrow. The Union Company’s steamer Waimarino is due here on Monday from Dunedin and will probably return on completion of discharge to the same port.
