TRIAL OF VON CRAMM.— Baron Gottfried von Cramm, the international tennis player, is being tried on May 14. (Berlin.) WOMEN FOR TERRITORIAL ARMY.— The War Office is considering the plan of the Secretary for War (Mr Leslie Hore-Belisha) to enlist women in the Territorial Army to release men for more active pursuits. (London.) STEAMER AGROUND.— The steamer Canonbar, which has been standing by the Port Saint John, which went aground at Lady Elliot Island, has itself grounded at Inskip Point.' (Brisbane.) JEWS IN YUGOSLAVIA.— The anxiety of the Jewish community of 100,000 persons has been relieved by an assurance from the Regent of Yugoslavia, Prince Paul, that the Government will not allow any discrimination against Jewish subjects. (Belgrade.)
