The annual vocal recital by the pupils of Mr L. E. Dailey is always keenly looked forward to by those who appreciate singing that is varied in treatment and selection. This year’s recital will be held in Victoria Hall this evening and the part-songs that have been so popular on former occasions will attract many. In addition there will be quartettes, trios and solos. Past recitals arranged by Mr Dailey have been so successful that the public knows that it can rely on hearing voices that have been well trained.
