VERDICT OF NOT GUILTY ON ONE CHARGE (Received December 8, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 7. George Olsen Melander was found not guilty on a charge of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm to Sir Oswald Mosley, the British Fascist leader. The jury disagreed on the charge of causing grievous bodily harm. Melander was remanded.

During an open-air meeting at Liverpool, Sir Oswald Mosley was hit by a stone, and was sent to hospital suffering from concussion and a wound on the skull. Subsequently Melander, who is 19 years old, was arrested and charged with wounding Sir Oswald.
