Six people were involved in a collision on the Ashburton traffic bridge at eleven o’clock last evening when a motor-cycle with a pillion rider ran down four cyclists who were on their way home to Tinwald. Alb-rt Frederick Broughan, the driver of the motor-cycle, was slightly injured and Raymond Fergus Okie, the pillion rider, was badly shaken. FATAL HEAD INJURIES (United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, December 5. Severe head injuries from which he later died, were suffered by Alfred Warner, aged 22, when a petrol tank exploded. The accident occurred on Friday afternoon and Warner died in hospital last evening.
