In the colts’ and championship singles at the Winton and Returned Soldiers’ Association Club, results to date are as follows:—

Colts’ Singles.—E. Horn beat J. Bromley and M. McGregor; H. Molloy beat E. Cosgrove; M. McGregor beat C. Lodge; J. de la Perrelle beat R. McConville, E. Cosgrove and H. Molloy. PERSONAL Mr J. Clery, who for the past two year’s has been a member of the local staff of the Bank of New Zealand, has been transferred to the Invercargill office. His position at Winton is to be taken by Mr J. F. Guise, of Invercargill. Mr W. Norman, of Forest Hill, county member for the Winton riding, leaves during the week-end for Wellington to act as one of the five assessors appointed to represent the counties throughout New Zealand, to meet the Conciliation Court on county matters. Mr N. G. Pigou, of the Bank of New South Wales, Invercargill, has been appointed manager of the Winton branch.
Mr E. Ritchie, of Gore, is at present attached to the exchange staff of the Winton Post Office.
The Rev. W. L. S. Harbour, of Dunedin, will be installed as vicar of the Winton parochial district at Holy Trinity Church, Winton, on Tuesday evening. The Bishop of Dunedin, the Rt. Rev. W. A. R. Fitchett, will conduct the service of institution.
