MEDICAL RESEARCH
GREAT ADVANCES BEING MADE IN X-RAY WORK (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 20. Dr Alan Tennent, of Wellington, the medical officer to the New Zealand Coronation contingent who, afterthe Coronation, was engaged in professional work in London, returned today. He said great advances were being made in X-ray work, both from a diagnostic and therapeutic point of view and this applied, too, in the field of investigation of gastric disorders. Another matter to which great attention was being paid was the question of diet from the point of view of prevention of disease, particularly in relation to dental caries. Very extensive experimental work was being done in this direction.
