CLEARING SALE J. G. Ward and Co. and the Southland Farmers’ Co-operative Association Ltd. held a sale recently of the farm, implements and stock in the estate of the late M. Scott, Waikoikoi. The freehold property, comprising 199 acres, on which is an up-to-date brick residence, was bought by Mr J. W. Dynes. . Satisfactory prices were realized tor the stock and implements. Sales were:— 274 ewes and lambs at 20/6; 70 ewes and lambs at 13/8; 37 wether hoggets at 25/1; 38 ewe hoggets at 35/6; 2 and, 3-shear ewes at 38/-; bull £2 3/6, cows £6 10/-, £6, £4, heifers £5, £4 5/-, £3. Implements, furniture, and sundries were sold at full market rates.
