It has come to the knowledge of the Fortification Timber Company, Limited that the Southland Silver Beech Company Limited has, by circular dated 10th May, 1937, stated (hat the latter Company is in a position to supply red pine timber from the former Company in which the latter Company states it is interested. 2. The Fortification Timber Company Limited contradicts the statements contained in the said circular. 3. The Fortification Timber Company Limited has no connection whatever with the Southland Silver Beech Company, Limited. 4. The Southland Silver Beech Company Limited had no authority to use the name of the Fortification Timber Company Limited in such circular. 5. The Fortification Timber Company Limited has given no undertaking to supply the Southland Silver Beech Company Limited with any timber whatsoever. FORTIFICATION TIMBER COMPANY, LIMITED.
