A cricket stump used in the fifth Test match and taken possession of by W. A. Oldfield, the Australian wicketkeeper, was presented by him to the Bacchus Marsh sub-branch of the Returned Soldiers’ League. The stump was autographed by players of both teams. The branch in disposing of the stump realized £52, which will be devoted to the relief of distress among returned soldiers. The owner of the stump is Mr J. A- Connor, of Bacchus Marsh.
