RECORD RELAY RUN IN PENNSYLVANIA PHILADELPHIA, April 25. The Indiana University athletic team ran a world’s record four-mile relay in 17.16 1-10 at the Pennsylvania relay carnival. The time was chiefly the result of a brilliant second lap by Jimmy Smith, a negro, in 4.14.
