(Union Steam Ship Co.). GENERAL NOTES The motor-vessel Tamatea sailed at 5.30 a.m. on Saturday with passengers for the mutton-bird islands. The vessels Britannia and Scout arrived on Saturday with cased fish from Stewart Island, the former at 9.40 a.m. and the Scout at 9.45 am. The motor-vessel Kekeno returned from the mutton-bird Islands at 8.50 p-m. on Saturday and sailed again with passengers for the islands at 1 pan. yesterday. Finishing work on Friday night the Shaw, SavUl and Albion liner Arawa sailed early on Saturday morning for New Plymouth. The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Marama left Wellington on Saturday afternoon and arrived at Bluff last night. She sails today with passengers, mails and cargo for Melbourne. The Union Company’s steamer Omana, which has been loading timber for Aus•traUa at Bruce Bay, arrived at Bluff on Saturday afternoon. Further timber wiU be taken in at this port and on completion of working departure will be taken for Melbourne today. The same company’s steamer Waipiata should complete working general cargo today and sail for Dunedin. The liner Hertford arrived at Bluff, last night from Port Chalmers.
