INVERCARGILL POST OFFICE

PREPARATIONS WELL IN HAND (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, August 14. Preparations are well in hand for the erection of a new Post Office at Invercargill according to advice received by Mr W. M. C. Denham, M.P. (Lab., Invercargill) from the PostmasterGeneral (the Hon. F. Jones). Amended plans, which will constitute a distinct improvement on those originally prepared, are almost complete and the Minister has stated that it is hoped tenders will be called for the construction work within three months.
