AUDACIOUS THEFT

PREMISES NEAR' POLICE STATION ENTERED. (United Press Association.) Wellington, June 15. A particularly audacious theft occurred when premises occupied by a tailor, and situated almost next door to the Taranaki Police Station, were broken into and a dinner jacket removed from the front of a window. The trousers belonging to the jacket and the jacket were made into a parcel, with several overcoats and other pairs of trousers. The thief evidently was disturbed, as the parcel was found by the police when they discovered the crime. The only article missing is an overcoat
