JOKES ABOUT NAZI LEADERS.
ARRESTED BY BLACK GUARDS.

Although the- secret police had previously passed his jokes, Werner Finck, the music hall celebrity, was arrested on May 19 during raids on cabarets and sent to a concentration camp for lampooning the Nazi leaders. Black Guards raiding Finck’s flat announced: “We come to arrest a disloyal Jew.” Finck replied: “I am not a Jew. I only happen to look intelligent.”
