Mrs G. P. Forde, Park street, is spending a holiday in Dunedin. Miss P. Rumler, '■ “The Poplars,” Browns, spent a few days in Invercargill last week as the guest of Miss E. Hannon, Conon street. Mr and Mrs J. Robertson, Auckland, have been the guests of Mrs W. G. Clark.

Mrs J. Hazlett and her two small daughters, of South Hillend, have been the guests of Mrs H. Hubber, Gladstone, Invercargill. Mrs S. J. Pearce, Invercargill, spent a few days with Mrs J. Pearce, Limehills, last week. A euchre party under the auspices of the local branch of the R.S.A. was held in the club rooms on Thursday evening. The successful players were

Keen, Wairio, was the guest of Mrs J. Cavanagh, Park street, last week. Mrs D. Budge, Great North road, is spending a few days in Dunedin. Miss Dorothy Sutton, “The Willows, Otapiri, is visiting Dunedin. There was a good attendance at the St. Thomas’s euchre party held in Hamilton’s Hall on Tuesday evening of last week. The ladies’ prize was won by Mrs M. Holland, while Mr C. Coeoran took the men’s prize. At the conclusion of the euchre a short dance was held, music being supplied by Miss N. Crowe and Mr H. Morton. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr and Mrs G. Forde. Mr E. Cosgrove acted as M.C. Miss Alma Moore, Clyde street, is visiting Dunedin. Miss E. Pearce, East Limehills, has been spending a holiday in Invercargill. Mr and Mrs J. B. Cowie, Invercargill, were week-end visitors to Winton. Mr and Mrs L. G. de la Perrelle have been spending a few days in Dunedin. Miss M. Collett, Forest Hill, spent the week-end at Bluff. Mrs N. Metzger has returned from a holiday spent in Wellington. Miss A. Holland, Invercargill, spent the week-end at Winton.
