AERO PAGEANT
FIXTURE AT DANNEVIRKE. (Per United Press Association.) Dannevirke, June 1.
An aero pageant was held on the Dannevirke Aerodrome on Saturday in fine weather. It attracted a good crowd of spectators and pilots from various clubs in the North Island. The events resulted: Landing Competition—S. Buchanan (Wairarapa-Ruahine) 1, Smillie (Mangawatai) 2, J. B. A. Reid (WairarapaRuahine) 3. Bombing—J. B. A. Reid 1, Brewer (Hawkes Bay) 2, Buchanan 3. Message Dropping—Brown (Hawkes Bay) and S. Buchanan 1 eq. Acrobatics —S. Buchanan 1, McGaffin (Manawatu) 2. Novelty Race—Flying Officer Buckeridge (Wairarapa-Ruahine) and McGaffin 1 eq.
