HEAVY’ADVERSE BALANCE. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, February 17. Germany’s imports for January increased by £400,000, while the exports declined by £4,500,000 compared with December exports. The total is the lowest for any month since the Nazis took over control. It is reported that the trade balance is the worst for the past seven years. January generally brings an increase in the adverse balance, but the size of last month’s has shocked the commercial community.
