CLAY BIRD SHOOTING

HELD AT MANDEVILLE. The weather conditions were perfect for the clay bird shooting matches held at Mandeville on Wednesday. Four matches were shot off during the afternoon, the first match being won by Mr Jack Gardiner, of Gore. Mr A. Mortimer, of Riversdale, was the winner of the second match, Mr J. Cunningham, of McNab, and Mr R. Miller, of Mandeville, winning the third and fourth matches respectively. It is expected to have the final shoot of the year at Mandeville about the middle of December.
