BATHERS IN TROUBLE

RESCUED BY LIFE SAVING CLUB. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, November 9. After being in peril for almost half an hour, J. Baldwin, of Opawa, a young man, was rescued from the sea at Sumner this afternoon. Another bather who went to his assistance also got into difficulties and two teams of the Sumner Life Saving Club had hard struggles bringing the men ashore. Both were exhausted and had to be resuscitated
