ARCHITECTS’ INSTITUTE

KING OPENS NEW BUILDING. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, November 8. The King, accompanied by the Queen, opened to-day the new and beautiful headquarters of the Koya l Institute of British Architects. The building cost £125,000 and has been built in the centenary year of the institute. which has been the principal agency in creating a system of architectural education in Britain and in fostering the development of similar institutions in the dominions.
