SELF-DENIAL
SALVATION ARMY APPEAL.
(Per United Press Association.) Wellington, November 5. The total amount raised throughout New Zealand by the Salvation Army self-denial appeal was £21,061 which is a little in advance of last year’s total. The Chief Secretary, Colonel Orsborn, in making the pronouncement to this effect to-night, warmly thanked Salvationists and friends for the work they had done and the gifts they had made which would enable the Army to carry on its campaign.
