DON BRADMAN

WIFE ARRIVES IN ENGLAND.

London, October 28,

Don. Bradman and his wife were happily reunited at the Lord Warden Hotel at Dover, after Mrs Bradman had crossed the Channel in a gale, writes Tom Clarke. Don. motored to the Lord Warden from London, and waited in a reserved room until the manager led his wife to the door, through which she rushed with a cry, “Oh, Don!” A happy "four-in-hand” tea party followed.

Mrs Bradman chatted vivaciously about her journey, and later they escaped secretly through the kitchen and drove off in a big car to a secret destination in the country.
