JUMP INTO STREAM
UNKNOWN MAN’S ACT. SEARCH BY POLICE. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, April 10. The police searched the Waimakariri River and banks last night and to-day for the body of a man who leapt from the stone parapet on the Waixnakariri Bridge on the Main North Road last night. _ The headlights of a motor car picked out the man as he made the jump. The motorists searched without result.
