Boil together in a kerosene tin for half an hour 41bs fat, lOoz caustic soda, lOoz resin, 7 pints water, 2 tablespoons borax, then addT/- worth glycerine, 1 small bottle of cocoanut oil and 1/bottle of citronella or any other perfume preferred, stir well and pour out. Tobacco tins make splendid containers and the soap turns out easily.
