Information Wanted
In reply to a Riverton correspondent who wants a recipe for toilet soap. Boil together in a kerosene tin for half an hour 41bs fat, lOoz caustic soda, lOoz resin, 7 pints water, 2 tablespoons borax, then addT/- worth glycerine, 1 small bottle of cocoanut oil and 1/bottle of citronella or any other perfume preferred, stir well and pour out. Tobacco tins make splendid containers and the soap turns out easily.
“NASTURTIUM,” Gore, wants to know if any reader could supply a recipe for a cake or biscuits using glucose.
