B.S.A. machine scored a notable victory in the recent 17th annual Durban Rand motor cycle road race, South Africa’s most important motor cycle event of the year. The course, 403 miles long, was over rough and unmade roads—a gruelling test of reliability as well as speed. Out of a field of 47 starters B. Kinsey on a B.S.A. 4.99 h.p. O.H.V. Special was first, at the record speed of 58.27 m.p.h.
