The Rumanian Government has issued a decree that in future no waitresses under 40 years of age shall be employed in public cafes, hotels, bars, or clubs. At a recent meeting in Bombay it was announced that there are more than 20,000,000 widows in India—between 200,000 and 300,000 of them still under the age of 25.
