SUNDAY TRAINS
RESUMPTION OF SUBURBAN SERVICES. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, October 25. The resumption as from November 5 of the running of Sunday suburban services in the Auckland and Wellington areas was announced to-day by the Chairman of the Railways Board, Mr H. Sterling, who said the time-tables would be on a modified scale. He added that the board was induced to reinstate the services by the success of Sunday services between other points. The board decided also to adopt special fares, the whole idea being experimental. The continuation or otherwise would depend entirely on the patrontage.
