LUMSDEN NOTES
WEATHER SUMMARY. For the month, of August, the weather generally was of a mild nature. There were no boisterous outbreaks nor sudden changes. Rain fell on ten different days for a total fall of 2.39 inches. The highest fall was 50 points on the 3rd, and the lowest was 3 points on the sth. The fall for August, 1932, was 2.31 inches. Frost occurred on nine nights, the most severe being 7 degrees on the 19th. Snow fell on the low country on two occasions, there being half an inch on the Ist. The prevailing winds were from the north-west and from the cast.
