A request was received from the Wallace Early Settlers’ Association asking the club to broadcast its annual reunion celebrations on September 20, and it was agreed if possible to accede to the request. A small committee was set up to see if it was possible to carry this out. Mr Jordan reported on the equipment that had been obtained for the new studio, and Messrs Simpson, McEwan and Jordan were thanked for the amount of trouble they had gone to on behalf of the club in connection with this matter. It was decided to extend the children’s hours and Mr Palmer, who was previously known as "Uncle George,” in the 4YA station, consented to take charge on Saturday evenings. The offer of Mrs A. C.
