There is now no doubt that a massacre tok place in the village of Sinnel, 40 miles from Mosul, in which it is alleged that the fleeing Assyrian Christians passed the night. According to the Baghdad correspondent of the Calcutta Statesman, the soldiers of the Iraq Army entered the village and proceeded to butcher the 700 inhabitants, all of whom were unarmed.
