BRITAIN AND RUSSIA
COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, August 28. The Foreign Office has been informed by the Soviet Embassy that for the purpose of facilitating commercial operations in the United Kingdom pending the conclusion of a new trade agreement, the Soviet Government has authorized M. Alexandre Osersky, Trade representative in Great Britain, to sign letters of guarantee and to enter into other commercial transactions on their behalf.
