(From Our Correspondent.) The annual meeting of the Tuturau Ex-Pupils’ Association was held m the public hall at Tuturau recently, there being a fair attendance over whom 'the president, Mr lan McLachlan, presided. . Before proceeding with the business a vote of condolence with the relatives of deceased members was carried in the customary manner. In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, the chairman expressed his thanks for the assistance given him and congratulated the association on the completion of another year’s operations. The election of officers for the year resulted as follows: President, Mr W. Muir; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Glover and A. A. Woods; secretary and treasurer, Mr R. F. Dickie; assistant secretary, Mr A. Glover; committee, Misses L. Folster, R. Oughton, S. Bolster and Messrs R. H. Dickie, G. W. Folster and I. McLachlan; auditor, Mr G. W. Folster. Following the meeting a social gathering was held, at which musical numbers were given by members present, while music for the dancing was supplied by Misses C. O’Rourke, A. Dickie, F. Clarke and Mr G. McLellan, the duties of M.C. being carried out by Messrs J. Glover and R. F. Dickie. Rifle Shooting. A match between Mataura and Wyndham was contested at the former club’s miniature rifle range on Monday evening and resulted in a win for the visiting team by 743 to 731. Subsequently the visitors were entertained at a social. The following are the scores:— Wyndham.—J. Henderson 75, T, Bell 72, J. Mitchell 78, T. Mcßride 76, W. Smith 73, A. Smith 75, T. Clark 71, W.
