EX-KING ALFONSO’S RESIDENCE.
(United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) London, October 9. The diplomatic correspondent of the Daily Telegraph states that the closer rapprochement since the advent of the Herriot Government may lead to exiting Alfonso abandoning the idea of permanently settling in France. Spanish Republicans resent the ex-King’s presence in an adjoining State, and are urging their Radical French friends to press the Quai. d'Orsay to tell Alfonso to select a more remote spot.
