N.Z. OLYMPIC TEAM. LOVELOCK’S INCLUSION. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, May 31. The administrative committee of the N.Z. A.A.A. and C.A., having decided that Lovelock’s performance well merited his nomination for the Olympiad, the Council of the A.A.A. and C.A., is prepared to find £7O of the estimated expense of £l2O and it has been decided to send a telegram to the Otago Centre asking if it could find the other £5O, the money to be in hand by June 4 to which date, in view of Lovelock’s performance, the entry in his case has been extended. OTAGO’S ATTITUDE. Dunedin, May 31. The New Zealand Athletic Association advised the Otago Centre that it was prepared to find £7O of J. E. Lovelock’s expenses for inclusion in the Olympic team if Otago found the other £5O by Saturday next. Otago replied that it was impossible to find the money. The Centre regarded it as a national matter and considered the Olympic Council should find the remainder of the money.
