N.S.W. NATIONALISTS
QUESTION OF LEADERSHIP.
(United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, March 25. The Sydney Morning Herald says a special meeting of the State Parliamentary Nationalist Party has been convened for Tuesday. It is stated in the lobbies that the Opposition Leader, Mr T. R. Bavin, will probably announce his resignation of the leadership. It is practically certain that Mr Stevens, deputy leader, will be chosen to fill the vacancy. Interviewed, Mr Bavin declined to confirm or denj' that he intended to retire from the leadership.
